Home Office'in politikalarini buyuk olcude belirleyen bagimsiz Migration Advisory Committee yeni bir rapor yayimlamis. Bu raporda ozellikle Tier 1 (General) ile ilgili ciddi degisiklik onerileri var. Bunlarin uygulanmasi cok muhtemel zira Home Office daha once MAC'in onerilerinin cok buyuk kismini uyguladi ama zamanlamasi kritik olabilir. Ozet olarak soylenenler sunlar:

We recommend that the Tier 1 General route is retained and in terms of calibration of points we recommend that:
• appropriate professional qualifications held in addition to an undergraduate degree are recognised as equivalent to a master’s degree for the purposes of the PBS and that claims that some undergraduate degrees are equivalent to a master’s degree are also given consideration on a case-by-case basis; and
• individuals with an undergraduate degree are allowed to enter under Tier 1, subject to an appropriate earnings threshold.

In addition, in relation to the current selection criteria, we make the following recommendations:
• For age: those aged 29 and under are awarded 20 points; those aged 30 to 34, 10 points; those aged 35 to 39, 5 points; and no points are awarded to those aged 40 and over.
• For qualifications: 30 points awarded for a bachelor’s degree is reinstated; 35 points continue to be awarded for a master’s degree; and points for a PhD are reduced to 45.
• For previous earnings: points are not awarded for earnings less than £25,000; and earnings bands are set as in Table 6.7.
• The 5 additional points continue to be awarded as at present for UK experience.

Government carries out a full review
of the salary conversion model prior
to introducing the recommendations
we are making in relation to Tier 1.

En kolay puanın alındığı maaş donusturme skalasının değiştirilmesini öneriyor..En son 2002 de HSMP ilk yaratıldığında kurulan band sistemini değiştirilmesini öneriyor..Ülkelerin gelir durumlarının değişmesini göz önüne alarak..


Ayrıca

we recommend that the initial leave
to remain entitlement is reduced from
three to two years, with a three-year
extension subject to evidence that
the individual is in highly
skilled employment.

Son zamanlarda Tier1 da bir değişiklik oldu mu?
Önceden hesaplamıştım calculatorda, puanım yetiyordu ama şimdi yetmiyor.

Şu an sadece eğitim seviyesinden, son 12 aydaki maaşından ve ingiltere de yaşama tecrüben varsa , ordan puan alıyorsun. Hatırladığım kadarıyla ingilizce seviyesinden ve bankadaki paradan (2800 pound) da puan alınıyordu.

Hatta aşağıdaki linkte eskiden hesaplayıp elde ettiğim sonuç var:

Selam king_lua . Ingilizce seviyesi ve maintenance icin de 10`ar puan veriyor sana points based calculator ancak bu puanlar total puanina katilmiyor. Point based calculator`un sonuc sayfasina gittiysen bunu gormussundur. O iki maddeden 10`ar puan alman must zaten, aksi taktirde diger maddelerden toplamda 100 puan da toplasan tier1 alamazsin.
